About Me
Hello!
I, Kelsey (she/they), am a licensed clinical social worker in California, Rhode Island, and Indiana. I offer 100% virtual/online therapy sessions in Rhode Island, Indiana, and California. I also offer in-person therapy in San Diego, CA.
I received my BA in Psychology from Smith College in 2013 and my Masters in Social Work from University of Maryland Baltimore School of Social Work in 2017.
As both a licensed clinical social worker and registered yoga teacher, I use a holistic and evidence-based approach that emphasizes connecting mind and body to further healing. I am trained in trauma-informed yoga, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills, EMDR, and Internal Family Systems (Level 1 Trained).
I primarily use IFS to heal trauma by helping you cultivate compassion, confidence, connection, and curiosity for and towards all parts of you. Together, we will address somatic, relational, and behavioral symptoms from a place of internal strength and healing.
When I'm not with clients, you'll most likely find me practicing or teaching yoga, reading or listening to a podcast, cooking, or attempting to get my vegetable garden to grow. I am a proud member of the LGBTQIA+ community. I reside in Southern California with my husband, daughter, and dogs.
